Crowbar formed in San Antonio in 1990. The group would get together as often as possible and record improvised music at home studios. Musically the group was heavily influenced by Crass, The Fall, Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, and Psychic TV. A handful of gigs occurred at DMZ, The Needle Diet, Alfred's and a few house parties. The group split up summer of 1990.

Paul, Linus and Ernest went on to play in Glorium. Malcom played in The Search Party and The Shape, and now performs and records in New York.

Milo Misut took his own life in 1992.
